Creative studio in Lisbon · Restaurants and local business
Himura builds fast, clear websites designed to convert. Your customer finds the menu, understands the value of the room and books, without calling anyone.
The service is rarely the problem
On mobile, customers zoom, lose time and leave before they reach your dishes.
No one can answer during service. The intent was there, but the table was booked somewhere else.
A great experience looks ordinary when photography, copy and presentation do not support it.
Without local structure, consistent information and good performance, your business is harder to find.

Three directions, three businesses
Each project was designed around a different positioning, atmosphere and customer. All of them are live and can be tested now, including bookings and the management panel.
These three restaurants are demonstration projects. I built them in full, genuinely working, to show the standard of the work without exposing client businesses. Book a table, open the panel and watch the booking arrive. This is exactly what you get.

A refined bilingual experience with step by step online booking and a management panel.
Goal: turn premium positioning into direct bookings, with no middlemen.

Lisbon tradition presented with care, a visual menu and complete management.
Goal: give weight to a historic house and capture both tourism and neighbourhood regulars.

A lively identity connected to the grill, the countryside and the energy of the house.
Goal: show that a neighbourhood business can have first class digital presence.
I also do visual direction and content management for social media, which is the work behind the monthly plan. The example lives on Instagram @tales_of_the_veil.
Clear pricing
You know from the beginning whether the investment makes sense. We then shape the project around your business, with no hidden fees or mandatory subscriptions.
For businesses that need to exist properly, now.
Agreed scope
For restaurants that want bookings without depending on the phone.
Agreed scope
Equivalent to a handful of recovered tables per month.
So your digital presence is never left to chance.
Not included
All figures are starting points and are fixed in the proposal, with the scope written down before work starts. Domain, hosting and external services are agreed separately. Professional photography and the other add-ons are quoted separately, only when they are needed.
Opportunity calculator
Three of the figures are numbers you already know from your business. The fourth is the only assumption in the calculation and it is yours to set, so the result never depends on anyone's optimism.
Add-on services
None of these services is mandatory and none is added without your approval. They are quoted separately, inside the same proposal, so the price of the plan stays the price of the plan.
A website only shows the quality of a venue if the photographs show it. The session is commissioned from a photographer and I handle the link to the website: what is worth shooting, the order it appears in on the pages and how the files are prepared for Google and social media.
The final figure depends on the location, the length of the session, how many dishes or products are involved and the number of final images. Travel, models, props, food styling and special productions are quoted separately. Availability and travel are confirmed before the proposal, which is why there is no list price here: you get the quote once I understand what you need.
Can include
SEO fills the room with people who were already looking. Ads fill the room on the nights nobody is looking. I run Google and Meta campaigns against one declared goal — usually bookings on quiet nights, seasonal menus or groups — and stop whatever does not pay for itself.
It only makes sense once the website converts. Sending paid traffic to a page that does not generate enquiries is the fastest way to burn money. If you are not there yet, I will say so instead of selling you the service.
The fee is management only. The ad spend is paid by you, directly to Google and Meta, and never passes through me. I recommend starting at €300 to €500 per month of spend so there is enough data to decide anything. Campaign setup is charged once, in the first month, from €290. No lock-in: give 30 days' notice and it stops.
Included every month
Not included
Managed hosting, SSL certificate, regular backups, technical updates, monitoring, email support and one small change per month, up to 30 minutes.
Profile setup or review, the right categories, opening hours, services, organised photographs and a template to ask for reviews.
A page dedicated to one specific goal: Christmas menus, New Year's Eve, group bookings, events, catering or brunch.
Connection to the platforms you already use, booking button, custom form and email notifications. External subscriptions not included.
Creation of the English version, language switcher and basic optimisation of titles. Full translation is quoted separately.
For menus that only exist as a PDF or as photographs. Categories, dishes, prices and allergens organised before publication.
Smaller pieces of setup
Every add-on is a starting point and is fixed in the proposal, with the scope written down before work starts. Work outside the approved scope is charged at €40 per hour and never goes ahead without prior approval.
When the project is bigger
Himura is for local businesses with one venue and a small team. When the problem is launching a development, repositioning a hotel or building a complete commercial system, the work moves to INARI, the studio I co-founded. I tell you which of the two fits during the free review.
INARI demonstrations: hospitality real estate
Risk on your side: none
The figure is agreed before work starts. If the scope changes, I say so before proceeding and you decide.
Domain, content, access and code stay with you. No closed platforms, no mandatory subscriptions.
The free review may conclude that you do not need a new website. If that is the case, I will say so plainly.
A simple process
Four steps, no unnecessary meetings and no jargon.
You send the link or the name of the place. You receive a written read of what is holding back enquiries.
Scope, timeline and figure defined. No small print and no extras appearing at the end.
You receive a concrete first version. We refine what matters without turning the project into a maze.
Domain, website, access and instructions. You stay independent, with support if you need it.

Who will work on your project
I am André. I have worked across design, technology and business for more than a decade, including marketing, digital products, user experience and development. That helps me treat a website as a commercial tool, not an isolated visual piece.
I created Himura Creative Studio to work with local businesses without the usual agency distance. There are no account managers in between: the person who analyses the business is the person who designs and builds it. We are a small team on purpose, which is why we take on few projects at a time.
In 2018, MAGG interviewed me during Web Summit about a technology project connecting professionals and customers. I am also a co-founder of INARI, a studio for larger strategy, brand and digital projects.
Frequently asked questions
If your question is not here, write it in the form. I will answer it anyway.
A written read of your current website, Google profile and digital presence, with the concrete points holding back enquiries and the order to fix them. It arrives within 24 working hours, commits you to nothing and requires no call.
Projects start at €399 and usually reach €900 depending on content, languages, online booking and management features. If your request goes beyond this range, I will tell you before we proceed.
A simple website can be ready in around 7 working days. Projects with bookings, multiple languages or more content usually take 10 to 15 working days.
I deliver a strong technical foundation, structured data, good performance, local content and preparation for Google Business Profile. No serious professional can guarantee first place; results also depend on competition and ongoing reputation.
Yes. The domain, content and agreed project assets belong to you after the agreed payment. Delivery is not used to lock you into a monthly subscription.
That is the most common case and it is not a problem. I handle the domain, hosting and publishing. At the end you receive simple instructions and, if you prefer, I make the updates myself.
No. I can organise existing information, help write the copy and define the exact photographs needed. Photography or more extensive content production can be quoted separately.
No. NAMI 38, PÁTIO 1755 and Adega Típica are demonstration projects I built in full, genuinely working, with bookings and a management panel. I would rather show work you can test right now than expose client businesses or fill the page with screenshots. What you see is what you get.
If it is a hotel, a property development, an exporting manufacturer or a multi service clinic, the right fit is INARI, the studio I co-founded, with a nine person team and projects from €12,000. I will tell you that during the free review, even when it means not taking the project.
Yes. I work remotely with businesses across the European Union and deliver the project in English or Portuguese.
Half at the start and half at publication, with an invoice. No mandatory subscription on the website plans.
