Our point of view

Living tradition. Lisbon in full.

At PÁTIO 1755, we begin with what arrives from the market, the fish auction and small producers. Then come fire, time and recipes carried through generations.

The room is considered, never ceremonial. We want you to feel welcomed, order more bread for the sauce and stay for one last conversation.

Leading the kitchen

Catarina Sequeira. Cooking to remember.

“A recipe only stays alive when it tastes of where it came from and of the person cooking it today.”

Catarina grew up around long family lunches and her grandfather’s fish stall. After kitchens in Lisbon, Porto and London, she returned to give Portuguese classics a precise, generous and uncontrived voice.

Time seasons too.

Some dishes begin in the morning to arrive just right at night. Produce, fire and rest all belong to the same recipe.
