Atlantic fish, Japanese technique and a dining room open to the Tagus. A new table ritual, made with time and served with genuine warmth.
Our point of view
At NAMI 38, every piece begins at sea and ends with a gesture. We work with seasonal Portuguese produce, rice seasoned to the moment and cuts that respect each fish.
The experience is considered, never distant. We want you to feel at home, with the right amount of time to taste, talk and return.
Selected with small suppliers and Portuguese fish markets.
Seasoned in small batches throughout each service.
A place close to the craft and the chef’s conversation.

Leading the kitchen
“We do not look for surprise through noise. We look for that second of silence after the first taste.”
Born to a Portuguese mother and Japanese father, Tiago grew up between the fish of this coast and the rituals of a patient kitchen. After time in Tokyo, Copenhagen and Lisbon, he returns to the Tagus to create a language of his own.

From coast to counter
Every fish asks for a different reading. Origin, curing and temperature are tuned before the first cut.
Daily selection in Peniche, Sesimbra and small fish markets in the Azores.
Hours of rest, salt and kombu reveal texture and depth.
The cut happens before you and reaches the table at exactly the right moment.
